How is a printed model created?
1. Step
The artist creates a 3D model and then sells the rights to us.
•
We download the model and process it in the so-called slicer.
2. Step
The model is scaled and provided with supports in the slicer.
•
Thanks to our experience, we know where to place the supports.
3. Step
The ‘sliced’ file is then sent to the 3D printer, which prints the model layer by layer. Each layer is cured with UV light.
•
The model is printed ‘hanging’, so the supports are important.
4. Step
After printing, the model is washed to remove any residue.
•
The support structures are also removed.
5. Step
For the final touch, the model goes into the ‘hardener’ and is cured one last time with UV light.
•
Now it can be packed and start its journey to you.
6. Step
The model arrives at your home and you can put it on the shelf or paint it - just as you like.
•
Why don't you show us a picture of your model in its new home - we'd love to see it!
